Getting back into the swing of things!
I've had a little bit of a creative lull this past few months what with holidays and work commitments. But, I got an order for No12 in Marple for birthday cards and blank cards which threw me back into it! Thought I'd share a few pics with you.

Happy Birthday February!
Just a quick post as I haven't given you a card update for a while! I bought some lovely spotty washi masking tape and decided to use it in a Birthday card design. I've embellished it with fabric paint and a sprinkling of glitter, adding a stripe of yellow ribbon to brighten it up and finally making it abit girly by adding a hand tied bow, wooden flower button, a shiny diamante and pretty pink hand painted dots. Finally the hand stamped message in violet coloured ink reads 'birthday wishes!'. So, if it's your Birthday this month consider this card from me to you :)
Happy February Birthday!

Mr Robin...
... likes to visit our garden every now and again. I saw him today for a fleeting moment before he got chased off by a sparrow. Here he is captured on top of an evergreen tree with sparkly snow fall for my Nanna's Christmas card. I love his fat little body hehe! Advent treat 19!
Hand drawn watercolour and fine liner.

Or visit my stockists Fibre in Manchester, No 12 in Marple, The Pavilion Gardens in Buxton and New Mills Original Gallery in New Mills. Stockport Handmade Market
On Sunday 27th November I will be taking part in a very Christmassy Stockport Handmade Market. It'll be my first ever Craft Fair and I've been busying away making lots of stock for it, including cards and tree decorations. I'm very much looking forward to it, especially as Santa will be visiting! If you can pop along it is open from 10am - 4pm in Stockport's covered Market Hall (perfect if the weather isn't great!)
This is a link to the Handmade Market website and Facebook page is here too for more info.

O' Christmas Tree
I found some gorgeous Christmas tape in Fred Aldous
on my shopping trip today and couldn't wait to put it to use! I
decided to use it in the same way as my hand stamped messages only the
tape has more of a colour impact. I have added a tiny hand painted
watercolour Christmas Tree embellished with tiny diamante baubles. Cute!

Super Huge Commissioned Card
... made for my almost brother-in-law. 21 hand drawn images (technically 2 are photographs) depicting the 21 things that we know and love about him! It's my first attempt at a big commissioned card, but this idea wouldn't have worked on anything smaller. I must say I'm really pleased with the outcome, it took the best part of 4 days!
